Examination and Reflection on the Practice of Correspondence Undergraduate Education in Local Colleges and Universities

Abstract: To comprehensively carry out socialist modernization requires higher education, especially correspondence undergraduate education, to better serve economic and social development in an all-round way. The obscure development orientation, the lack of connotation of the teaching system, and the backwardness of the supervision system are the important reasons why the quality of undergraduate correspondence education in local colleges and universities is difficult to improve. This paper analyzes the current situation of the practice of undergraduate correspondence education in local colleges and universities, and discusses the strategies for improving undergraduate correspondence education in local colleges and universities. It hopes to improve the quality of education by clarifying the nature of running a school, changing the orientation and objectives of running a school, innovating the teaching mode, and innovating the supervision system, so as to meet the needs of talents for social development.
