Analysis on the Ascending Path of College Students' Participation in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Abstract: Innovation and entrepreneurship competition is an important platform of the talent training. Gaining satisfying results in the competition will effectively stimulate the enthusiasm of college students, improve their confidence and ability of innovative and entrepreneurship. Based on SEM and 911 college students’ questionnaires coming from 7 different colleges in Shandong province, SEM analysis is implemented to discover factors influencing the satisfaction of contests’. The results show that the competition atmosphere, nature of competition and motivation are important external variables, which have significant positive influence on resource integration, team collaboration and teacher guidance. Moreover, teachers' guidance, resource integration and team collaboration have significant positive influence on satisfaction. Moreover, we puts forward the satisfaction promoting strategy of "one center, two basic points and three paths".
