Analysis on the Construction Path of the Integration of Vocational College English Courses into the Professional Groups under the Background of “Three Hubs and Four New Missions”——Take the Automotive Engineering Professional Group as an Example

Abstract: Under the background of “three hubs and four new missions” in Hunan Province, the integration of vocational college English courses into the automotive professional group is taken as an example, this paper presents the current problems existing in vocational college English courses and conducts a preliminary analysis of the construction path for integrating vocational college English courses into the professional group. Its analysis focuses on three aspects: the curriculum module setting of vocational college English courses, the construction of the content system of vocational college English courses, and the establishment of curriculum ideological and political education in vocational college English courses. The aim is to cultivate students through vocational college English courses more effectively, enabling them to become versatile talents that align with the needs of social and economic development.
