Curriculum Construction of Global Change Science in Local Normal Colleges and Universities Based on the Bridging between Middle Schools and Universities

Abstract: Global change science awareness is an important components of the core quality of middle schools geography. The global change science in normal colleges and universities is the main way for geography teachers to acquire knowledge and ability related to global change, therefore the quality of this course construction will affect the quality of geography education in middle schools. In view of the existing problems in the construction of the global change science curriculum in normal universities, this paper constructs the curriculum from the perspective of middle school geography curriculum standards by adopting goal orientation, namely, it carries out the curriculum construction from five aspects: curriculum nature and curriculum setting, challenges of curriculum design, curriculum content design and class time allocation, teaching methods and measures, and teaching evaluation.
