Teaching Innovation of Marine Geology Course for the Major of Marine Technology in Provincial Universities

Abstract: The Marine Technology major of Shandong Jiaotong University focuses on the cultivation of intelligent marine technology and marine resource development technology, with marine geology being one of the fundamental courses. This article conducts preliminary exploration and practice on the issues of coherence, connection, and integration of ideological and political elements in the teaching process. It concludes that ideological and political elements should be fully integrated into the teaching content, research results should be organically combined with the teaching content, theoretical learning should be integrated with on-site practice, classroom debates, expert reports, celebrity interviews, etc. should be integrated into classroom teaching, and attention should be paid to the introduction of teaching content. It can significantly enhance students'interest and exam scores, while also deepening their understanding of the course content.
