Research and Practice of Botany Teaching under the Mode of Applied Talents Training

Abstract: Botany is a fundamental compulsory course for undergraduate majors in agriculture, horticulture, and biology in higher education institutions. It is crucial for the education of theoretical knowledge and the cultivation of innovative abilities among college students. This article analyzes the existing problems faced by current botany teaching, and proposes a“four in one”talent cultivation model centered on learning, teaching as a means, guidance as a strategy, and evaluation to promote reform, and explore future reform measures and directions that are suitable for social development, in order to provide reference for botany education reform and scientific research talent cultivation.
