Research on Teaching Reform of Crop Breeding Course in Agronomy Specialty

Abstract: Crop breeding is a comprehensive subject with strong theory and practice, and it is an important course for agronomy majors. In order to effectively combine theory and practice in the teaching process, this paper took the genetics course of agronomy major of Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology as an example, discussed the current situation and problems of the course, and proposed reform measures and ways of teaching materials, teaching contents, teaching methods, combination of theory and practice,examination methods, and so on. It is expected to improve the teaching quality of the course, and it is expected to adapt to the new situation of China's current agricultural development and cultivate compound talents to meet the needs of modern agricultural production and industrial development.
