Research on the Reform Method of Practical Teaching of Electromechanical Engineering Based on Bilingual Teaching

Abstract: With the continuous development of industrialization, comprehensive talents have become an inevitable trend for colleges and universities. Mechanical and electrical engineering practice as one of the key disciplines of undergraduate education faces huge challenges. As a compulsory course for mechanical students, mechanical and electrical engineering practice has practical and comprehensive characteristics. In order to improve the oral English and hands-on experimental ability of undergraduates, the teaching reform of electromechanical engineering practice was carried out, and a teaching model based on the combination of bilingual and project teaching was formed. In the classroom, students communicate with their teachers in English and provide corresponding teaching experiment items after class so that they can practice what they have learned in the classroom. After years of exploration, it has been confirmed that the bilingual teaching model is a successful reform, and it is worthy of being gradually promoted in other courses.
