Abstract: Higher vocational colleges are the cradle of cultivating craftsmen in large countries and an important base for cultivating professional and technical personnel. The transformation of scientific and technological achievements is one of the important ways for vocational colleges to integrate with economy and society. This paper briefly analyzes the importance of scientific and technological achievements in higher vocational colleges in serving local economic development, and according to the reality, there are some prominent problems, such as low overall transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements, low enthusiasm of teachers for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and lack of interest in scientific and technological achievements in higher vocational colleges, this paper puts forward the countermeasures of scientific and technological achievements of higher vocational colleges in promoting local economic development under the background of the integration of industry and education.
