Abstract: Under the background of the construction of new agricultural sciences, the comprehensive implementation of labor education will help higher agricultural and forestry colleges to train students to form correct labor values, enhance creative labor capabilities, build a "Moral, intellectual, physical, art and labor" education system, and cultivate newcomers of the era who know agriculture, love agriculture, and take the responsibility of strengthening agriculture and rejuvenating agriculture. At present, labor education in higher agricultural and forestry colleges is facing dilemmas such as weakened work, misaligned positioning, formalized courses, and lack of timeliness. Based on the research, we put forward countermeasures to improve the curriculum of labor education, enrich the content and form of labor education, establish a labor education management mechanism, and improve the level of labor education teachers.
