Abstract: Based on the patent information of universities in Hebei Province from 2002 to 2019, using IncoPat patent analysis platform, this paper analyzes the patents of Hebei University of Technology, Yanshan University, North China University of Science and Technology, Hebei University of Engineering and Handan University. It reflects the scientific and technological innovation ability of universities in Hebei Province from the patent application trend, legal effective status, technology composition and transfer trend of the five universities, and gives the reason analysis combined with the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; and puts forward suggestions for the scientific and technological innovation and patent development of colleges and universities in Hebei Province. At last, the paper proposes the relation between the college scientific & technological innovation and the patent-intensive industry, and provides assistance for the technological transformation and output efficiency of patent-intensive industries related to universities or high-tech enterprises.
