Discussion on Teaching Reform of Basic Geology Course for Geography Specialty (Teacher-Training)——Taking Beibu Gulf University as an Example

Abstract: Basic Geology course is a professional foundation course for Geography Specialty (teacher-training). As a basic course and an introductory course, it plays a very leading role, which occupies an important position in the curriculum system. In order to make students better grasp the geology-related knowledge and enhance geological-thinking, this paper reforms the teaching methods and teaching contents in terms of the problems in teaching, and puts forward new methods and ideas of the course reform, so as to improve the classroom effect and teaching quality.
