Research on the Cultivation Methods of "Double-Qualified" Teachers in Private Undergraduate Colleges and Universities

Abstract: The development of teaching staff is the core and focus in promoting the cultivation of practical and innovative personnel in private colleges and universities. It is a crucial means to boost competitiveness of private colleges and universities to establish and improve "double-qualified" teaching staff having not only profound professional theoretical knowledge but also abundant teaching practice experience and innovation consciousness. This paper thoroughly analyzes the problems existing in the development of "double-qualified" teaching staff in private colleges and universities, and discusses the cultivation methods of "double-qualified" teaching staff in private colleges and universities from such aspects as adjusting the admission standard of teaching staff, expanding the cultivation channel of teachers, establishing the evaluation system of teachers, offering the policy guarantee, and improving the university-enterprise cooperation system, so as to provide some beneficial reference for the development of teaching staff in similar colleges and universities.
