The Design and Practice of Integrated Teaching Based on a Massive Open Online Course Platform——Taking the Course of Biochemistry as an Example

Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of Integrated teaching method in Biochemistry teaching based on a massive open online course (MOOC) platform. Methods Undergraduates majored in Traditional Chinese were selected, and they were divided into an experimental and a control group. Students in the experimental group were taught by Integrated teaching method based on MOOC platform, and students in the control group were taught by traditional classroom teaching method. Results Integrated teaching method can improve students' learning performance, improve the ability of initiative, problem solving, and strengthen the spirit of teamwork. Conclusion The Integrated teaching method has brought innovation to biochemistry teaching, which is of great significance to improve the quality of biochemistry teaching and is worth popularizing and applying.
