Abstract: Under the background of integration of industry and education, the reform of physical education curriculum system in higher vocational colleges should highlight the primary position of special professional physical fitness and physical quality, and divide different physical education basic courses or optional courses according to the different characteristics of each major and the future employment direction, so as to make students have good professional adaptability. Thus, we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' mental health ability, optimize the evaluation system and other aspects to achieve the goal of physical education curriculum reform from strengthening the combination of new media and physical education curriculum teaching, which can promote the comprehensive development of students, and cultivate applied high-quality talents for the construction of Chinese characteristics in the new era.
