Abstract: The high-quality first-class talents with innovative spirit and strong practical ability are required to cultivate under the background of “Double First-class”. Therefore, reforming the relevant curriculum teaching system is one of the key issues in the current specialty construction according to the local economic and social needs. The open mode of molecular biology experiment which includes teaching content, method and evaluation etc., is discussed by analyzing the present situation of molecular biology experiment teaching in biological technology and biological engineering for central south forestry university of science and technology. We have achieved a good teaching effect and this will have a reference value and practical significance to other experimental course teaching of higher school in the future.
