Research on Vocational Education Supporting Targeted Poverty Alleviation——Take Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College as an Example

Abstract: Vocational education is a type of education with high relevance and strong closeness to targeted poverty alleviation. It can not only timely and effectively solve the "skills" needed by people in poor areas in production and life, but also continuously deliver the existing labor force and potential labor force to all walks of life through training, so as to transform the population scale into demographic dividend, which is beneficial to the national economy and society development. This paper takes the elevator targeted poverty alleviation project of Hangzhou vocational and Technical college as the carrier to conduct empirical research, deeply analyzes the inevitable relationship between vocational education and targeted poverty alleviation, the actual defects of the current docking, and puts forward constructive suggestions.
