Research on the Improvement of Undergraduate Practical Teaching Quality in Western Ethnic Universities in the New Era

Abstract: The reform of undergraduate education and teaching in the new era puts forward new requirements for the quality of undergraduate practical teaching. Universities for nationalities in western China are short of funds, investments, talents and experiences, they are difficult to innovate. Therefore, they are recommended to take measures in accordance with local conditions, to promote strengths and avoid weaknesses, improve the quality of practical teaching then reform steadily. The concrete way is to establish the undergraduate practical teaching quality improvement system which takes the undergraduate thesis(design) as the axis, the discipline competitions and the innovation and entrepreneurship projects as the driving force, and the practical platform bases as the support.
