Abstract: The curriculum ideology and politics plays the important role of value leading in the personnel training of college education, which is going together along with the specialized course,embodying the educational idea of moral education. “Electromagnetic Field and Wave” is the basic course in subjects of electronic information, communication engineering and electrical engineering. On the basis value leading role of curriculum ideology and politics, this paper explored the methods and implementation measures to deepen the curriculum teaching reform in the course of filed and electromagnetic wave.The main contents include the philosophical elements in the course of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave, the value leading role of ideological and political methods, the sustainable development of electromagnetic environment, the curriculum ideological and political methods based on outstanding historical figures, and combining teachers' own charm. And the ideological and political thinking, method and means in the course of filed and electromagnetic wave are deeply analyzed.
