Abstract: With the rapid development of the education industry and the gradual implementation of the new teaching reform, the society has higher standards for the comprehensive quality of higher vocational students, and higher requirements have been put forward for the teaching quality of higher vocational colleges. Based on this situation, the management of higher vocational colleges began to explore the construction of teaching quality management system in higher vocational colleges under data mining. The purpose is to summarize, induce, analyze and apply the data generated in the teaching process of higher vocational colleges, improve the teaching quality of higher vocational colleges at present, and provide higher quality learning environment for higher vocational students, thus promoting the sustainable development of students. This paper discusses and analyzes the overview of data mining, the problems existing in the application of data mining technology in the construction of teaching quality management system in higher vocational colleges, and the construction of teaching quality management system in higher vocational colleges under data mining.
