Abstract: The construction of merging engineering is an important measure to enhance the national comprehensive strength, train compound talents and promote the innovation and development of engineering. How to realize the construction of merging engineering in the new era is an urgent problem to be solved at present. This paper makes an exploration and research on the main problems, the development trend and the mode of the innovative talents training in merging engineering related to Bionic Science and Engineering. The work will contribute to improve the quality of engineering talents, to promote the international competitiveness, and to practice Jilin University engineering education " Double Fist-Class initiative.
