Abstract: In the scope of "new engineering" multidisciplinary integration, the cultivation of biomedical engineering talents in medical universities needs to be highly compatible with the development trend of talents in the medical and health industry. Biomedical Engineering in Nanjing Medical University has taken the advantages of clinical resources from itself and focused on student development, where it established a "clinical-oriented" innovative and entrepreneurial talents training goal that is clearly different from other engineering and comprehensive universities. To improve the students' comprehensive abilities, "medical-industrial complex" teacher platform is built, "medical-industrial integration" curriculum platform is perfected, "medical-industrial intersecting" practice platform is deepened, "collaborative innovation" transformation platform is promoted and the three-dimensional innovation and entrepreneurship ability training system are explored. Talent cultivation is fruitful and students have gained significant achievement in innovation and entrepreneurship.
