Research on the Relationship between College Students' Mental Health and Their Innovation and Entrepreneurship Performance

Abstract: By using SPSS data analysis method and questionnaire survey, 120 college students were selected to explore the relationship between college students' mental health and innovation and entrepreneurship performance. Among them, the mental health of college students was measured by three factors: subjective well-being, entrepreneurial mentality and psychological elasticity; innovation and entrepreneurship performance was divided into objective and subjective indicators for measurement. Data analysis results show that subjective well-being, entrepreneurial mentality, and psychological elasticity are all significantly and positively related to innovation and entrepreneurship; entrepreneurial mentality is a significant and positive predictor of innovation and entrepreneurship; psychological elasticity is not only a partial mediator but also a significant and positive predictor of subjective well-being. The conclusion shows that subjective well-being, entrepreneurial mentality and psychological elasticity all have a positive impact on innovation and entrepreneurship; the higher the entrepreneurial mentality, the higher the innovation and entrepreneurship; the stronger the psychological elasticity, the higher the subjective well-being.
