Business English Teaching Practice under the Guidance of Competency Model

Abstract: By investigating the specific requirements of the market and enterprises for business English talents, this paper summarizes the core competence of the students and makes a scientific definition to build a competency model. In the practice of business English teaching, aiming at cultivating students' competence, epcei teaching mode is used to simulate the process. Students not only improve the business operation skills, but also cultivate team cooperation, execution, learning ability and other personal professional qualities, to further maximize the teaching effect. Students have a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development, showing the advantages of the professional training, so as to cultivate competitive international compound talents.
