Abstract: As one of the most influential and extensive language training programs in Australia, the Adult Migrant English Program provides language support and settlement skills for migrants arriving in Australia, which is conducive to the improvement of new immigrants’ English skills and employment opportunities. By sorting out and analyzing the course classification, development form, teaching method and curriculum framework, this paper brings enlightenment for the development of adult English education in China, and puts forward some suggestions to further promote the reform of adult English education in China.
