The Application of Task Driven Teaching Method in the Ideological and Political Education

Abstract: Values establishment and people cultivation is the basic goal and task of higher education. The construction of ideological and political education is a new strategy for guiding the development of higher education in Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. In order to enhance students' internal driving force for learning ideological and political elements, improve students' enthusiasm for professional knowledge exploration, and accept the initiative of ideological and political education, the task driven teaching method is integrated into the "Ideological and Political Education" teaching task. So that students need to actively query and obtain relevant ideological and political education knowledge points to get relevant information in the process of exploring and completing professional curriculum tasks. As a result, the professional tasks and ideological and political tasks are closely combined. Based on two design examples of electrotechnics course, this paper further expounds the application of task driven teaching method in the course of ideological and political education. The two examples have been put into practice in teaching.
