Research on the Cultivation of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ability of Students in Mechanical Specialty under the Background of Intelligent Manufacturing

Abstract: With the rapid development of new generation information technology such as big data, internet of things and artificial intelligence, the manufacturing industry is entering the intelligent era, and the demand for high-quality innovative talents of mechanical specialty is more urgent. As an important base of national personnel training, the mechanical specialty in colleges and universities should not only cultivate students' solid foundation and theoretical knowledge, but also pay attention to the cultivation of students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability. Based on the analysis of the current situation of the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of students in mechanical specialty, this paper points out the key factors restricting the improvement of their innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and probes into the ways to cultivate the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of students in mechanical specialty for colleges and universities under the background of intelligent manufacturing, so as to provide reference for the innovation and entrepreneurship education of mechanical majors in colleges and universities.
