Abstract: As a "double first-class" comprehensive research university, which is good at science and engineering, Central South University has optimized its undergraduate training program of finance, integrating the characteristics of science and engineering into the curriculum system of general education. At the same time, a large number of basic knowledge courses of economics and management are set up by taking advantage of the combination of economics and management in our college, and characteristic professional courses are set up according to the advantages of professional research and the direction of teaching reform. Through the implementation of the research and innovation program, students' employment ability is greatly improved. And based on the deep understanding of the industry and company operation, we have achieved excellent results in the practical activities competition. These results show that the training program can effectively improve the comprehensive quality of students, deepen their understanding of "industry + finance", and meet the demand for talents.
