Abstract: Information teaching is an effective means of modern education, which plays an important role in the field of art design innovation in higher vocational colleges. Informatization is the inevitable trend of "Internet plus", an effective path for teachers and students to interact with each other, and a challenge to the integration of learning resources and teaching methods. Based on the information teaching of interior design and design major in Wuxi Institute of Arts and Technology, this paper discusses the necessity of information teaching in interior design specialty in Higher Vocational Colleges under the background of "Internet plus". Based on this, it explores how to infiltrate pottery culture into the information teaching process of interior design major in higher vocational education, and puts forward corresponding strategies, hoping to provide reference for related research.
