Abstract: Under the background of national cultural self-confidence, Chinese traditional culture began to penetrate into all aspects of university education. As such, it is necessary to discuss the value, significance, current problems and innovative ways of integrating College English teaching into Chinese traditional culture ,which helps college students to strengthen their cultural awareness, improves their cultural quality and build their cultural self-confidence in English learning. In addition, it is important to foster English teachers to implant more contents of traditional Chinese culture in multiple dimensions during the teaching process in order to achieve the goal of cultural education and enhance cultural self-confidence.
