Abstract: Self-knowledge is not only the foundation of college students' development, but also a prerequisite of their potential development. The promotion of college students' self-knowledge & development can be carried out in the "self-knowledge and development teaching + individual psychological counseling + after-class practical guidance”. Based on a typical case in the author's work, this paper will discuss roles and methods of self-knowledge & development in guiding students.
