Abstract: With the development of information and Internet technology, the teaching mode of College English is also facing corresponding changes. We should actively integrate with internet information technology, update and upgrade college English teaching technology in time, and effectively integrate 5G + artificial intelligence and College English teaching into the top priority of discipline research and development. This paper studies the current situation and achievements of College English Teaching Reform under the background of "5G + artificial intelligence", and further shows that the combination of 5G + artificial intelligence and English classroom teaching can improve students' learning quality and performance, and achieve the purpose of learning progress.
