Abstract: Innovation is an important driving force of national development and an important means of national comprehensive ability competition. It is great practical significance for the improvement of students' physical quality and the development of students' innovative thinking to cultivate students' innovative ability in PE class. Starting from the current situation of extracurricular physical education activities in primary schools, this paper creatively puts forward some strategies in order to open up students' pioneering thinking and spirit.
