Abstract: Objective To explore the teaching effect of PBL combined with standardized patients in the course of basic nursing. Methods A total of 175 students from class one and class two of nursing in 2018 of Shijiazhuang people's Medical College were selected as the research objects. 87 students in class one of the control group adopted traditional teaching method, 88 students in class two of the experimental group adopted PBL teaching method combined with standardized patient teaching method. After the course, the teaching effect was evaluated. Results The theoretical and operational performance of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion The application of PBL combined with standardized patient teaching method can improve students' learning enthusiasm, team cooperation ability, clinical judgment ability and so on.
