Abstract: At present, the legal education in Chinese colleges and universities generally attaches too much importance to textbook theory, neglects practical ability and trains legal thinking. The application of Socrates case teaching method is undoubtedly a beneficial attempt to the teaching reform of administrative law. Whether Socrates case teaching is also suitable for mainland China, which is different from common law system, and how to apply it to the education of administrative law effectively has become the focus of this paper.
