Abstract: The basic connotation of "craftsman spirit" in the new era mainly includes professional spirit, quality spirit, team spirit and innovation spirit, which is the internal requirement of the construction of high-level Higher Vocational Colleges in the new era, and also the spirit urgently needed by students of Higher Vocational Colleges in the new era for their all-round development. Taking environmental majors as an example, this paper discusses the connotation of environmental professional culture, the construction of professional culture and the accommodation mechanism with craftsmanship spirit. The key lies in the deep integration of school practice teaching and enterprise professional activities. This is the practical needs of the development of modern higher vocational education and the objective requirement of providing talent support for "made in China".
