Abstract: Ideological and political work is an important task for the Party branch of college students. As the leader of the party branch, the student party branch secretary is the key to ideological and political education. It is of great strategic significance for the secretary of student party branch working on ideology and politic, to promote the party's overall and strict governance, to implement the fundamental task of moral education and to enhance the organizational force of the Party branch. However, there are some problems in student party branch secretary works for ideological and political education,such as weak persuasiveness, insufficient appeal, inadequate appeal, and poor influence. To solve these problems, it is necessary for college student party branch secretary to take countermeasures of grasping the precise orientation of ideological and political work, improving methods of work, optimizing effective expressions, publicizing good image, and focusing practical behaviors.
