Abstract: As a compulsory skill course in preschool education, piano teaching should implement the principle of unity, practicality and flexibility. However, there are still some deviations between the current piano teaching methods, training methods, teaching objectives and the requirements for training applied talents in preschool education, and also cannot meet the actual needs of kindergarten for high-quality teachers. How to improve the teaching quality, optimize the teaching process, and improve the teaching methods are important topics for cultivating high-quality professional talents. This article considers and explores the problems in the practice of piano teaching in preschool education major of higher vocational education, and proposes specific suggestions.
