Research on the College English Teachers’Professional Development under the Background of " Ideological and Political Education in Curriculum"

Abstract: The concept of “Curriculum Ideology” has given a new teaching definition to college English course. While learning English language knowledge, students' ideological awareness is also improved simultaneously, which is of great significance to the realization of the goal of cultivating morality and enhancing the cultural self-confidence of college students. The development of “Curriculum Ideology” and the improvement of teachers' teaching skills should form a synergistic effect. Therefore, based on the problems existing in the curriculum ideology implementation of College English teaching, this paper explores and puts forward a new path of College English teachers' professional development under the background of "Curriculum Ideological".
