Abstract: In 2016, President Xi Jinping emphasized at the National University Ideological and Political Work Conference that college teachers should conduct ideological and political education for students in classroom teaching. Curriculum ideological and political construction has become a key word in college education and teaching reform. This article takes Basic Russian of the Applied Russian Major of Xinjiang Vocational University as an example, and proposes the exploration of integrating the curriculum ideology and politics into the university Russian classroom.Basic Russian, as the core course of the Russian major, is of great significance to the implementation of the teaching content of the Russian major. The basic Russian course focuses on cultivating students' quality goals, knowledge goals and ability goals, optimizes the curriculum, and organically integrates ideological and political elements with curriculum elements.
