Abstract: The purpose of this study is to understand the current status of loneliness, mobile phone addiction, and social support for college students, and whether social support has a regulating effect on the effects of loneliness of college students on mobile phone addiction. In this study, a questionnaire survey was used to select 502 students from three colleges and universities in Guangxi for investigation. The results are as follows: the loneliness of college students in Guangxi is higher than the average; mobile phone addiction is at the average; social support is at a higher level. The loneliness of college students in Guangxi can positively predict mobile phone addiction.
