Abstract: In 2015, the term "maker" was written into the government work report, thus putting forward the slogan of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation". At present, big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are leading the domestic maker movement in full swing, which also leads to the collision and integration of maker movement and contemporary education. At present, college students are active in thinking, free from tradition, and have good knowledge reserve, which is the main force for the development of maker movement in the future. Based on the goal and orientation of talent training in higher vocational colleges, this paper takes Jilin Economic Management Cadre College as an example, and expounds the basic status of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges from two aspects: the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in schools and the learning status of students.
