Translation of Business English from the Perspective of Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory

Abstract

Abstract: With the acceleration in the process of global economic integration and increased frequency of international trade, the application of business English has gradually been highly valued in China. The application of Nida's functional equivalence theory has an obvious effect on the accuracy of business English translation. Based on Nida's functional equivalence theory, this paper expounds the specific application of functional equivalence theory in business English translation, and puts forward business English translation strategies under the guidance of functional equivalence theory.
