Study on the Linguistic Characteristics of College Students' English Vocabulary Attrition in the Context of Chinese

Abstract

Abstract: Language attrition, as a new discipline, appears at many levels, and has been widely concerned by scholars. Vocabulary, as a key element in language learning and application, is also the focus of language attrition research. Through the analysis of the concept of language attrition and the study of English attrition, this paper studies the linguistic characteristics of English vocabulary attrition of college students in Chinese context from the aspects of word form, word meaning, word form, word frequency and other factors in order to provide reference.
