Abstract: In the context of the high-quality development of new engineering disciplines, the course of material preparation and characterization, as an important course for graduate students majoring in condensed matter physics and optics, bears the responsibility of cultivating high-quality innovative research talents. However, there is a problem of“separation of science and education”in the specific implementation of this course, which leads to insufficient research autonomy and research ability of students. This article aims to deeply analyze this issue and propose the construction and implementation of a“theory practice research trinity”teaching model (method) to cultivate high-quality innovative talents who can solve complex scientific research problems and engineering applications, enhance the research and innovation abilities of graduate students, and provide reference for the reform of related course teaching.
