Abstract: This study is set in the context of applied undergraduate colleges in the new era, focusing on the cultivation and enhancement of college students'employment competence. The paper systematically analyzes the components and existing shortcomings of employment competence, clarifies its strategic significance, and then proposes a systematic improvement path centered on curriculum redesign, faculty strengthening, school-enterprise integration, and home-school collaboration from the perspectives of students'professional subjectivity construction, institutional reform, and collaborative ecology. It aims to build a multi-party coordinated education system to effectively enhance students'employment competitiveness and provide support for achieving students' higher-quality employment and serving economic and social development.
