Abstract: According to the relevant investigation, freshmen are most likely to have different degrees of psychological problems in the period of adaptation. If they don't pay attention to be dredged and regulated, they will easily lead to various kinds of psychological confusion and psychological obstacles. Therefore, it is imperative to grasp the key stage of College Students' adaptation period to carry out effective mental health education for college students. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the results of 2014-2018 Freshmen's mental health status in an engineering college by using UPI (College Students' Personality Questionnaire), in order to find out the regularity and new changes of Freshmen's mental health status in the adaptation period, and to provide basis for College Freshmen's mental health education in the adaptation period.
