Research on the Development Path of the Health Services and Management Major——From the Perspective of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education

Abstract: With the continuous advancement of the Healthy China strategy, the general public has placed increasing emphasis on physical health in recent years, leading to a growing demand for professionals in health services and management. To address this challenge, Ministry of Education introduced the health services and management major in 2016. This article outlines the approaches to building a health services and management program through Sino-foreign cooperation from several perspectives: clarify talent cultivation objectives, construct curriculum framework, innovative teaching methods, conduct teaching evaluation and feedback, and establish a faculty research community. Practical results demonstrate that the Sino-Swiss University of Hotel Management has achieved significant success in cultivating high-quality health services and management professionals through Sino-foreign cooperative education, effectively enhancing the teaching quality of such programs and providing new insights for other universit to carry out cooperative education.
