Abstract: As a general compulsory course, the university employment guidance course serves as a crucial foundation for guiding and supporting students'career development. With societal advancements, the traditional teaching model of employment guidance courses struggles to meet the demands of enhancing students'employment awareness, strengthening their career competencies, and improving the quality of career guidance services. Based on the current status of university employment guidance courses, this paper explores urgent challenges in teaching practices and proposes specific reform strategies. These include strengthening faculty development, emphasizing practical curriculum design, leveraging extracurricular activities, developing online platforms, and establishing dynamic feedback mechanisms.
