Reform and Exploration of Sports Physiology Course Teaching Based on OBE Concept

Abstract: The OBE (Outcome-Based Education) concept is guided by learning outcomes, emphasizing the precise cultivation and continuous improvement of students'abilities, which is in line with the core needs of sports talent cultivation in the new era. Sports physiology, as a core foundational course in sports majors, directly affects the formation of students'professional literacy and practical abilities in terms of teaching quality. This article is based on the core principles of the OBE concept, systematically elaborating on the necessity of reforming the teaching of exercise physiology courses, analyzing the shortcomings of the OBE based teaching reform of exercise physiology courses, and proposing a reform path for exercise physiology courses based on the OBE concept, aiming to provide reference for relevant educators.
